Man Found Dead In Newark: Authorities

A man was found dead in the Ironbound neighborhood of Newark on Friday morning, July 5, authorities said.

The man was found dead by police at 7 a.m. on Magazine Street in Newark, a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. The Essex County Prosecutor's Homicide Task Force is investigating, the spokesman said.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
